The Shiba Inu team has issued an urgent alert regarding fraudulent SOU NFT airdrop campaigns impersonating its official compensation portal. Scammers are exploiting the 2025 Shibarium exploit victims through cloned websites and social media links designed to steal wallet credentials.

Susbarium, a community watchdog, confirmed the SOU NFT will never be distributed via airdrop—legitimate claims must be processed through Shib.io. Fraudulent schemes promise automatic rewards to lure users into connecting wallets to malicious platforms.

The warning emphasizes manual entry of the official domain and avoidance of shared links. This scam wave coincides with heightened activity around meme coins like SHIB, DOGE, and PEPE, which remain vulnerable to similar social engineering tactics.
